This piece is a tribute to jazz singers and a location where many a jazz standard is known to waft through elevator speakers. We imagine this young singer warming up her vocals before an audition, holding on tightly to her dreams. Her expression says so many things...one being the query of whether she is good enough to make her mark, the other; the unfathomable prospect of pursuing any other profession. The expanse of all possibilities are contained in these tiny four walls.
